I have read many good reviews about this place but was disappointed that the food wasn’t “great”. The Pho noodle soup was a bit more bland and the noodles was harder/rougher than preferred. I also didn’t find the pork chop very fresh either. Overall, in comparison to most Vietnamese restaurants I’ve frequented, it was an okay experience.

Reason why it maybe bland is a lack of MSG in their broth. If you think Xe Lua (aka train) has good broth, its cause its loaded with MSG. Vietnamese People tend to like this place better since the food is usually fresh which makes me perplexed by your review…. so I suggest you try something else on the menu like maybe Bun Thit Nuong Nam Nuong…
